Thirty years ago, in June 1986, The Rockville Church of the Nazarene organized and became one of about 80 Nazarene congregations in the New England District at the time. By organizing, the group that had started as a home Bible study under the leadership of Pastor Raymond Grezel three years earlier demonstrated its commitment to the community. Here we are in 2016 and RCN has stayed the course, proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ and ministering to the needs of Rockville and the surrounding towns. An anniversary celebration is planned for September, with details to come. Meanwhile, here is a brief summary of milestones.
On Sunday morning we have classes for all age groups: from children beginning at age two through grade school, youth and adult. Two new adult classes begin September 13. For a complete list, click here. We also have Bible studies in different settings.
Did you miss the meditations written by RCN's men's ministry? They were written for Lent, but truth is timeless. Take advantage of them to help build your own habit of meditating on God's word. For a limited time you can still find them here.
How, then, can people call on someone they have not believed? And how can they believe in someone they have not heard about? And how can they hear without someone preaching? Romans 10:14
