Psalm 1:1-3 How blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked,

Nor stand in the path of sinners, Nor sit in the seat of scoffers!

But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And in His law, he meditates day and night.

He will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, Which yields its fruit in its season

And its leaf does not wither; And in whatever he does, he prospers.

 

The men’s ministry at RCN main role is to build up, encourage, and strengthen men.   To help them stand in the three P’s of being a Christ-filled man which are protector, provider, and priest.  While these roles are built into all men, they are unable to be fulfilled without being Christ-centered. 

Men are, and these roles are under continuous assault in our culture today.  This is why the men’s ministry considers it a vital role to provide opportunities to strengthen men.  The men’s ministry accomplishes this by monthly men’s dinners that provide opportunity for fellowship, the Word, and prayer.  There are also various events throughout the year to help in these areas as well.
